Start the school day with quiet games, lively conversation, or simple arts and crafts! Our instructors keep the mornings interesting with stories, artifacts, and activities at Watts Center. Participants from West and Central schools can also register for shuttle bus service from the Park District; South School students will be walked to school. 

Registration for the 2021-22 school year starts August 5, 2021. To reserve a place for the 2021-22 school year, there is a $125 non-refundable, non-transferable registration fee per child. Tuition will be assessed monthly beginning September 1, 2021; you can sign up for a monthly auto-charge. Online registration is unavailable; to register, please fill out a Kids Club registration form (available at the Takiff Center or email [email protected] for the digital form). If spots are available, you must register by fax or in person at least 5 business days prior to the upcoming month. Prorating and refunds are not available. Spots in this program cannot be held for those who wish to skip Kids Club for a month. Those participants must dis-enroll and re-enroll as space permits. The $125 registration fee will only be charged once per school year.

After a busy day at school, it’s great to snack and chat with friends, finish homework, and stretch muscles on the playground. After-Schoolers cook healthy snacks, play organized games, and embark on learning adventures at Watts Center. Players experience daily scrimmages with active instruction and tips from the coaching staff. This class creates a safe and nurturing environment where students are free to explore and discover the magic of theatre while working individually and as an ensemble. Our class will culminate in a live performance for friends and families to enjoy!

Perfect for first and second graders, Little Footlighters helps develop creativity and confidence both onstage and off! Through a vocal and physical warm-up, improvisation and theatre games, students learn the basic tools for acting and performance. You must register at least one (1) business day in advance for School Day Off programs. No late registration will be accepted. Programs will be canceled if registration minimums are not met. Kids Club participants get $5 discount if they register in-person. After-care until 6:30 pm is included on School Day Off programs for current Kids Club Registrants (whether they are signed up for AM or PM Kids Club).
