Are you new to Glencoe? Looking to meet your neighbor’s while introducing your little one to friends? Join us each week to meet your neighbors, play at our early childhood playground, and introduce your little one to a classroom environment. Toddlers and parents/caregivers are invited to join us in spending quality time with your baby bear. We will enjoy stories, songs and sunshine with their first friends. Each week we will meet in the classroom and then finish up the class with some playground time at Takiff Center. Camp registration will begin Tuesday, February 2 at 7 pm. Koala camp ramps up the summer fun with water play, music, walking trips, and theme days. We provide refrigeration for lunches on site. A high-energy camp for almost-kindergartners, Kinder Korner Camp is a great place to make friends, move muscles, and challenge imagination. Singing, games, and crafts are based on weekly themes custom-made for busy 5-year-olds. Dress up as a princess, a pirate, or an elephant – every day brings a new surprise! And we don’t stop there – Kinder Korner Camp hits the trail with trips to the beach, walking trips to local parks, and more! We will have some fun romping and stomping with performances by some of our favorite musicians. Enjoy Glencoe Beach and beautiful Lake Michigan! This unique experience takes place at the Glencoe Beach Boat House. Spend the summer kayaking, Hobie cat sailing, surfing, and stand-up paddle boarding. During rough days, campers will play games on the beach, including volleyball and baseball. On stormy days, camps move to the Takiff Center for indoor fun. Each session begins with boater safety lessons and in-water instruction. New and experienced sailors will enjoy fun and safe sailing adventures on Lake Michigan. Sailors learn the basics of steering, trimming the sail, and balancing the boat in an exciting, hands-on way. Using U.S. Sailing teaching methods, sailors practice land and water drills, making Sailing Camp fun, safe and educational. Sailors complete a swim check at the beginning of camp, so instructors are aware of weak and nervous swimmers. Game On! Sports 4 Girls Camp Favorite!

At Game On! Sports Camp 4 Girls, girls of all skill levels will learn and play multiple sports daily in an empowering, warm, and FUN environment. As always, safety is our top priority and with COVID-19, we are taking extra precautions including sanitizing equipment between uses, social distancing, and mask use if social distancing is not feasible. Since 2007, Game On! has been offering campers daily/weekly exposure to a wide range of sports including lacrosse, field hockey, soccer, volleyball, basketball, softball, tennis, yoga, fitness, karate, touch rugby, flag football, swimming, horseback riding and more. Whether your daughter is athletically inclined or not, she will thrive. While sports and active play happen throughout the day, we also work to impact each camper's growth as an athlete and a person. Through our Healthier4Me program, we integrate discussion and lessons that focus on self-esteem, respect, nutrition, teamwork, leadership, communication, goal setting, making smart choices, sportsmanship, developing solid bodies, and other core values and life skills. Did you always want to be a counselor at camp? Learn how to work with school-age children and develop leadership skills. CIT's must commit to the entire registered camp season.
