Party in the Park

At 4 PM, Party in the Park starts at Lakefront Park. Inflatable games, races, and a dunk tank will be part of the party fun. You can also purchase beer/wine or Food Truck food from 4 to 9 PM. The band Serendipity will kick-things off with a combination of 60’s/70’s/80’s covers and pop hits.
The food truck fest will feature La Comodito Pizza, Sweet Memories, Pink Taco, Chiesa's Gluten Tootin' Free Food Truck, and La Cocinita, while the beer and wine tent will feature Sam Adams beer, Truly Hard Seltzer, and Copa Di Vino wine. Souvenir reusable steins, made possible by Truly Hard Seltzer and The Boston Beer Company, will be used during the event. All drinks are $5; sales end at 9 PM.
Starting at 6 PM, Glencoe residents and non-residents can take advantage of the Park & Ride to the Lakefront Park. Families can park at either the Village lot or train lot and take the free bus shuttle to Lakefront Park.
With a repertoire of rock and original hits, The Blooze Brothers band will kick off festivities at 6:30 PM at Lakefront Park. The Blooze Brothers fun mix of music will get you dancing!
To cap off the July 4th festivities, a spectacular fireworks show will be launched from the sand at 9 PM. You can watch the enhanced show at Lakefront Park!
PLEASE NOTE: As a safety precaution, Glencoe Beach will be CLOSED on July 4 in order to prepare for the fireworks show. Glencoe Beach tokens will be honored at Maple Avenue Beach in Winnetka. Glencoe Park District residents without tokens will be assessed the Winnetka Park District resident rate with proof of residency required. All non-resident guests will be required to pay the non-resident fee.
Hazel, Park, and Longwood Avenues will be closed on July 4. Parking will not be allowed on Hazel, Park, and Longwood from 10:00 p.m. on July 3 through 6:00 a.m. on July 5. Other parking restrictions may be posted by the Village of Glencoe.
