Movies in the Park
Great Scott! The Glencoe Park District is hosting a free movie in the park on Tuesday, August 25! We’ll screen Back to the Future at dusk at Berlin Park, 692 Greenwood Ave.
Park staff will use non-toxic paint to create 18 foot social-distancing circles in the grass for patrons to use to watch the movie. Circles will be available for groups of six or less on a first-come, first served basis. Attendees do not need to wear a mask when in their circle enjoying the film.
In case of inclement weather, the event will be moved to Wednesday, August 26.
Please note, if our region steps back from phase 4 in the Restore Illinois plan, this event may be canceled. Scheduling changes will be posted on the Park District’s website, our social media platforms, and shared via our Rainout Line app.
Event Rules & Guidelines
We strongly recommend that all patrons wear a mask upon arrival, departure, and any time they are outside of their circle.
Masks will be required when using the indoor bathrooms at the park.
Sitting outside of circles (in walkways) will not be permitted.
Please be sure to maintain a distance of 6 feet from others. All patrons must follow social distancing guidelines.
This event is for all ages, so please be mindful and respectful of other patrons that are nearby.
Food and non-alcoholic drinks are allowed. Please note, all outdoor drinking fountains have been turned off due to safety precautions.
