Walking/Running Route

Walking can boost your energy, reduce your stress levels, lower your blood pressure, raise your HDL (good) cholesterol and reduce your risk of diabetes and osteoporosis. It’s a great way to lose weight, and the faster you walk, the more you burn.

If you do a 15-minute mile, for example, you will burn a little more than five calories a minute. Do the five-mile circuit on the map, and at that rate, you will burn about 375 calories.
