Adjacent to Glencoe Beach, the Perlman Boating Beach offers sailing for all ages and boat storage. The beach has 200 rack spaces for small 10-foot to 14-foot sailboats, windsurfers or kayaks. Approximately 75 sand spaces are also available for larger sailboats up to 18 feet long.

Rack space is available for the 2011 season. Priority is given to 2010 renters until Friday, April 15, at 5 p.m. Starting April 18, new applications will be accepted. New applicants may pick up an application at the Glencoe Park District office, or call the Park District office at 847-835-3030 to be put on the mailing list.

The boat storage fee includes one boat space, sail and personal locker, and up to four family beach passes. There is an additional charge of $10 for each beach token needed after the first four.
